Why should I become a member of WellSpring Church?
Becoming a member of a church signifies a commitment to that congregation, not only to attend worship services on a regular basis, but also to contribute time, gifts, and resources to serving the church. As a member of WellSpring Church, you will have the opportunity to serve in the church's ministries and participate in church government. All elders, deacons,and other church officers are elected by the members who also approve the church budget and other related business.
What are the qualifications for becoming a member?
In order to become a member, you must:
- Be a believer in Jesus Christ and give evidence of regeneration.
- Be baptized by immersion following your regeneration.
- Wholeheartedly believe in the Christiian faith as revealed in the Bible.
- Agree to submit to the teaching of Scripture as expressed in the Statement of Faith
- Promise to keep the commitments expressed in the Church Covenant.
How do I become a member?
To become a member, you must attend membership classes where you will have the opportunity to study the beliefs of WellSpring Church and the way in which the church is governed. You will become a member after completing the membership course and upon recommendation by the elders.
