OUR WORSHIP
Our worship service is intended to glorify and honor God by focusing on His great worth, His soul-satisfying sufficiency and His grace and mercy as the author of our salvation. We seek to center our attention on the Redeemer, Jesus Christ, as the answer to our greatest need—reconciliation with God. We depend on the Holy Spirit as we sing, pray, give, confess, preach, and listen to the Word of God. Worship is a full-personed (mind, body, and emotions) response to the truth of God received through the intellect and the affections.
Our use of contemporary music reflects our desire to use the musical language of our culture as we speak to God. Our use of traditional liturgical forms reflects our understanding of our connection to the historic church through the centuries.
